2026-2027 Course Selection

We are so excited to have you join our Panther Family! We are beginning our Course Selection process for the next school year. Our Course Selection window will open Monday, April 20th at 10:00 a.m. and will close Friday, May 1st at 3:00 p.m. Selecting course preferences can be completed in the student or parent portal in PowerSchool. Please click 6th Grade Course Selection for the directions on how to select courses for your student.

Here are some important reminders when selecting your course preferences:

Requests for our Leadership elective, Video Production elective and Yearbook elective must be accompanied by an application.
- Leadership (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Video Production (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Yearbook (Must use student RBUSD account to access)
- Applications are due by 5/1/2026 at 3:00 p.m. Please note that applications can only be accessed through a student RBUSD email account.
Students are asked to submit a maximum of two specialty applications
Students interested in Band will select Symphonic Band for their elective

Fall Registration Dates

6^th Grade Registration:

August 13, 2026

Appointment times will be emailed out in August. If you are unable to attend your scheduled appointment, please attend Make-up Registration.

Camp Parras:

Date: August 13, 2026

Time: 1:00-4:00 pm

All new 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Parras students are invited. Camp Parras is a free camp designed to acquaint new students with the culture and climate of Parras Middle School. Student will make friends, meet many teachers, become familiar with the layout of Parras, learn about dress code, figure out lockers, eat and win prizes! Please note this event is a student-only event and concludes at 4pm. Students will have the opportunity to set up their lockers on the first day of school.
